Weekend Vettes of Coastal Maine, Show & Shine, Bar Harbor, Maine

A group of 5 left on Friday to join the other 65 corvettes at Bar Harbor, Maine. The activities included an excellent meet-and-greet on Friday downtown, then the vette show on Saturday, followed by a run up Cadillac Mountain and road tour through Bar Harbor, ending with a "High Seas" banquet on Saturday evening. Weather was wonderful, food was fantastic, and people were perfect. The ride home was a little tiring with us having to detour through Fredericton to get home. An accident in Pokelogan, which caused a 4 hour delay, prevented us from getting through the usual way.

    Corvette Mania

Over 82 corvettes registered for the first show and shine of the season: corvettes from PEI, NS, and all parts of NB.   The weather cooperated with it being a very warm and bright day.  The vettes looked GREAT !   After the prizes were given out, the group headed to the Salisbury Big Stop for food, followed by a run to Shediac for ice-cream.   All in all a perfect day.

River Valley Vette Fredericton Annual Show & Shine Fiberglass Alley

A group from the Greater Moncton Corvette Club made it to Fredericton for their annual show and shine.  The day was beautiful with lots of years and colors represented.   A beautiful stroll down the highway took us to  Mactaquac for a group photo.  Then it was off to the banquet dressed as a "famous" person.  Again, a successful show for the RiverValley Vettes' members and fun was had by all !

    Atlantic Nationals 2007

The Greater Moncton Corvette Club held its 16th annual show and shine on Saturday, July 14th, during the Atlantic Nationals at Centennial Park in Moncton.   With 78 corvettes registered for our portion of the show, it was considered a success.  Our charity, the Moncton Autism Resource Centre, raised a tremendous amount of money through their BBQ set up.  The fact that it was a hot, sunny day, made it a great day for showing off the array of vettes.   After the show, 60 people ate at the Moncton Dart  Club, then a caravan of vettes drove to Beaumont and Memramcook to watch the sun set.   Thank you to all our sponsors.   And thank you to our friends, Ron & Sue Tremblay from Ontario and Antoine & Ann Maillet from New Hampshire for travelling so far to spend the weekend with us.
