34 th Radical Speed Sport Car Show at the Moncton Coliseum
The Greater Moncton Corvette Club ,
had a total of 8 corvettes in the show…It’s a great opportunity to meet past ,present ,and future members, of our club…The 8 cars in the show represented a variety of colors and model years.
Six out of eight cars won awards ranging from ,first place, to outstanding in show…

What a combination ,great weather ,100 corvettes parked in a corral, a B.B.Q. , A group supper at the Moncton Dart Club,and great door prizes…On july 12 2008 ,the Greater Moncton Corvette Club had its 17th annual Show/ Shine, which took place at Centennial park in Moncton N.B. This event, is part of the larger Atlantic Nationals car show weekend..A total of 6 corvette clubs from Atlantic Canada took part..The years of corvettes ranged from a 1956 to a 2007.. This was our largest corvette participation ever.. The charity we sponsor , The Autism Society, were having a B.B.Q. On site and were very successful.. Winners of class wall plaques,are as follows… 53-62 Bernard Ouellette--------1956 red conv. 63-67 Harvey MacCausland----1965 silver coupe 68-77 Allan Morrison---------------1969 metallic multi coupe 78-82 Dennis Gionet----------------1978 red coupe 84-89 Wornick Price----------------1987 red conv. 90-96 Ted Callran--------------------1991 red 97-04 Ron Gould-----------------------2002 white conv. 05-08 Ian Joyce-----------------------2005 yello conv. People`s choice Bernard Ouellette ---1956 red conv. After the presentation of awards, it was off to the Moncton Dart Club ,A total of 77 people enjoyed a great roast beef supper..Several great door prizes were given out.. August 10, 2008 Under threatening skies , The Greater Moncton Corvette Club, departed Moncton for a day trip to ST Martin`s N.B. on the Fundy coast…Along the way, we met up with the Corvettes of Southern N.B. Corvette Club..for a total car count of 24 corvettes….Upon arrival in ST Martins the weather was sunny and just the right temperature,,We visited the Fundy Trail, and the interpretive center at Big Salmon River…After a brief walking excursion at the Big Salmon river area, it was off for a meal at the Caves View Restaurant in ST Martins..a total of 42 people enjoyed a great dining experience…After the meal it was time for the two clubs to say their farewells and return their separate ways ,. We got to our destinations , with no complications just after dark..to complete a very fulfilling day with good friends… A big thank you to all for attending… Regards … Bob Surette President of the Greater Moncton Corvette Club…
