Minutes of February 1, 2010
 
The Feb. 1 2010 meeting of the Greater Moncton Corvette Club took place at the Lounsbury's Meeting Room on February 1 at 7:00 p.m.  Those in attendance were:  Bob & Janice Surrette, Dwight & Libby Rayworth, Wornick Price, Dennis Wall, Wayne Gillcash, Roger & Angie Bourgeois, Paul Dunn, Dave Fife, and Gary Gaskin.
 
The January minutes were approved as read.
 
Financial Report
 
Balance as of February 1 is $....................
Motion:  It was moved by Roger Bourgeois, seconded by Paul Dunn that the financial report be accepted.  Motion Carried.
 
Bills for Payment
 
Bob Surette presented bills for $139.00 - food for open house and $161.66 for photocopying and postage.
 
Motion:  It was moved by Roger Bourgeois, seconded by Paul Dunn that these bills be paid.  Motion carried.
 
Angie Bourgeois presented a bill for $39.53 for an ink cartridge.  It was moved by Janice Surrette, seconded by Dwight Rayworth that this bill be paid.  Motion carried.
 
New Business
 
February 19 - 7:00 p.m.  Hockey Game & Wine and Cheese at Brett Chev Olds, Rothesay avenue, Saint John.
 
February 27 3:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.  Bowling Challenge, Hanwell Road in Fredericton, Snacks provided.
 
The President will be in touch with Kendall Underhill at Lounsbury's for their yearly contribution to the Club.
 
We decided to go with the new Banner "Corvettes at the Nationals".
 
Bob will try to attend an Atlantic Nationals meeting on Wednesday evening to talk about their upcoming show in July.  One thing he will suggest is more washroom facilities on Main Street on the Friday of the show.
 
The Moncton Dart Club has been booked for our Car Show Supper on July 10.  The Club is now under new management.  It costs us $150 to book the Hall for this event.
 
There was talk of possibly booking another location for our Christmas Party.
 
The Club will make a trip to Mahone Bay again this October 2.  You can book rooms at the Comfort Inn in Bridgewater for $89.95 a night.  Be sure to mention the Nova Scotia Car Club to get this rate.  The phone numnber is 902-543-1498.
 
Schedule of Events for the coming year were discussed and will be sent out once it is finalized.
 
Motion to adjourn came at 7:55 p.m.
 
Roger Bourgeois won the 50/50 draw in the amount of $11.25.
